I noticed this several times with slightly different details. After I
ran update a few times happened the same - I was using either yum or
yumex and after update completes at some point (I'm not sure what's
related here) the gnome session is almost unusable. Could it be that I
simply have to follow the "update under init 3" strategy etc?
