Hm, the above has the following effect:

That in spite of this detail that 0.20061016-9.fc8 is about to be
replaced with 0.20061016-10.fc8 fonts-japanese package.  Excluding
'sazanami*' does not work as then you will see:

Error: Missing Dependency: sazanami-fonts-gothic is needed by package fonts-japanese
Error: Missing Dependency: sazanami-fonts-mincho is needed by package fonts-japanese

Is this a problem with packaging, with yum, something else?  Should it
go to bugzilla?  If yes then where? 'yum --exclude="font*" update'
will work but that does not really solve the above. Sure, you can
use rpm directly with whatever options will be required.

Before somebody will ask - yum is the current one 3.2.3-2.fc8.
