Network Security Services (NSS) is a set of libraries designed to
support cross-platform development of security-enabled client and
server applications. Applications built with NSS can support SSL v2

v3 certificates, and other security standards.

Update Information:

Update to NSS 3.11.7, Softoken module 3.11.4, CA module 1.64.

On systems where prelink is configured to exclude the Softoken module, as required for FIPS mode integrity testing, executables that depend on NSS can not be processed by prelink.

On systems where smart card login is enabled, text console login attempts would sometimes fail independently of a correctly entered password, making it necessary to retry the login.

All users of NSS, which includes users of Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, and other Mozilla.org products, are recommended to update to this package, which fixes these issues.
