iwl3945 not working with davej kernel

I don't know if this is considered helpful, but the ipw3945 driver
does work for me with the newest test kernel, very well. I posted
some advice about installing and using on the fedora list in an
ipw3945 thread a couple of days ago. Basically, blacklist iwl3945 in
/etc/modules.d, then install the ipw3945 firmware, the binary driver
ipw3945d, and the kernel module. Turn off "NetworkManager", run
system-config-network, and in case of trouble study the files that
s-c-n creates in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts and try command line
"/sbin/ifdown eth1" and "/sbin/ifup eth0" to experiment. Can get
source at http://ipw3945.sf.net, but there are also RPM versions on
Freshrpms and ATrpms.
