Is the boot hang problem fixed in the latest rawhide?

There were a couple of other guys here last week talking about the 
problem and they have different hardware than me.  My computer is an 
elderly Dell PIII.  The issue may have been the VESA video card but 
I'm not sure.

I haven't been able to boot a disk since F7.
