X-Chat is an easy to use graphical IRC chat client for the X Window System.
It allows you to join multiple IRC channels (chat rooms) at the same time,
talk publicly, private one-on-one conversations etc. Even file transfers
are possible.

This includes the plugins to run the Perl and Python scripts.

Update Information:

This update applies the latest bugfix patch from upstream:
1) Stops scrollback files growing too large by fixing the file-shrink code.
2) Puts a "Display scrollback from previous session" into the Setup GUI
   (logging section) so people can turn this off without typing commands.

This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.  Use 
su -c 'yum update xchat'
