Fedora 9 Preview : install failed from hard disk

I can't recall the exact wording either but I got the same error as you did when trying to install from the hard disk ( I was trying to install from a USB drive). I then used the same image and wrote the iso to a DVD and it installed fine.

Hi,

Trying to install on my computer failed.

Config : 2 hard disk with a large LVM
(and a little partition with the DVD iso)

Boot with the isolinux (from DVD, copied in /boot/isolinux) : ok
Anaconda launched : ok
Installation configuration : ok
Disk partition : ok

It failed juste before beginning the package transaction (after lv
formatting).

Not able to mount the sources
in tty4 : mount .... /dev/loop2 /mnt/cdimage

(I apologize, i don't have the exact message as i try the installation
in french)

Any idea.
I've don't find any bug and i can file one if needed.
