NetworkManager vpnc Fails

I just started testing NetworkManager vpnc (Cisco compatible client) on
F9 Preview and am getting nowhere fast. The same configuration works
just fin on my F8 system. On F9, NetworkManager prompts me for my
password, and then fails immediately with the message:

"The VPN Connection 'My VPN' failed because the VPN Service failed
unexpectedly."

Any ideas?
