Re: cannot compile kernel

hi,

Removed all, then downloaded packages. It's messy, as neither
pirut or yum extender keeps kernels in one place. The .src seem
to have been abandoned, but I suppose the last package would
should be it:

kernel-doc-2.6.23.9.fc8.x86_64
kernel-headers-2.6.23.9-85.fc8.x86_64
kernel-devel-2.6.23.9.-85.fc8.x86_64
kernel-2.6.23.9-85.fc8.x86_64

Source tree seem to be broken, as infiniband is missing.

[root localhost 2.6.23.9-85.fc8-x86_64]# make mrproper
scripts/Makefile.clean:17: /usr/src/kernels/2.6.23.9-85.fc8-x86_64/drivers/infiniband/hw/amso1100/Makefile: No such file or directory
make[3]: *** No rule to make target `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.23.9-85.fc8-x86_64/drivers/infiniband/hw/amso1100/Makefile'.  Stop.
make[2]: *** [drivers/infiniband/hw/amso1100] Error 2
make[1]: *** [drivers/infiniband] Error 2
make: *** [_clean_drivers] Error 2
