The 'fglrx' driver (ATI's proprietary driver) may work for you, but it is not 
included in Fedora.  You can get it from rpm.livna.org; follow the instructions 
there on how to install the livna-release package for fc8 then install 
xorg-x11-drv-fglrx with yum.
