k3b still has verify problems

as far as i can remember, last stable k3b was on f7 or before. right now, on
same (f9) system,  k3b may verify and succeed, verify and fail, eject but
not close the tray to verify, or not eject at all. i've seen this behaviour
with hal support disabled or enabled, on different systems.
