It's a Intel G41 chipset with the x3500??? graphics card, and while I'm
no it's not working right, I'm wondering about whether 3d is working at
all (I get FPS around 300 in a default glxgears instance, which is worse
than my wifes 3 year old i915 chipset (which gets 400fps and runs
compiz)

I'll try -17 later today.
