does a fully updated beta correspond to an updated preview?

that would be true if we were talking about a redundant, throw-away
system. i'm actually running the f11 beta on my main laptop which, if
things break, i'm under some pressure to get them fixed again or i
don't get any work done. so it's a bit more of an issue for me to
re-install everything.

hence my recent carping and whining about radeon drivers not working
and alpine being screwed up. cuz when those things don't work, it
really affects me. and gives me serious incentive to try to debug
them.

  just living life dangerously.
