Mouse choices

I loaded F11 on a Gateway laptop using 32 bit and discovered that there
was no problem with switching from the left-hand to right-handed option
and that there is no problem with it within the confines of my virtual
machine.  I hope this information can be of use in narrowing down the
reason it does work with the 64-bit F11.
