Given that upstream has gone closed source with version 6.x and nobody appears
to be maintaining a fork of a 5.x open source version, I think there's little
chance of this ever getting fixed, and so Fedora is going to be stuck with 4.4.0
indefinitely.

I'm going to close this bug CANTFIX; if anyone wants to do the work of fixing
this (effectively starting a fork of 5.x), I'll happily reopen this.
