[Bug 189676] Synaptics driver not functioning when the h/w is a Synaptics-cPad

Xorg log reports no touchpad found, then adds the HAL device.  No synaptics
functions work (e.g., can't disable tap, no scroll, etc.).  The middle button
doesn't work.  It looks like the X driver isn't recognizing the device.  These
functions work with the driver in the initial report (on F8, which is what I
upgraded from).
