I tried both "acpi=ht" and "idle=poll" separately. Both work equally well as
"acpi=off"

Not sure how you wanted me to try your request of disabling cpufreq. In
conjunction with acpi above or leave "acpi=off" and then try?

Just clarify and I'll try it.
