next time it happens, please run xkbcomp -xkb :0 out.xkb and attach out.xkb to
this bugreport. Also, run the same command when everything works properly and
check if diff shows a difference between the two.


The upstream bug has been marked as a duplicate of FDO Bug 2871, adding
reference.
