[Fedora-users-br] Kernel Panic no Install do FC4

Olá.. Estou tendo problemas com o FC4.
Quando eu tento instala-lo em uma maquina Athlon ele dá kernel panic.
Já tentei com "linux garbage" e "linux foobar" e continuou dando o mesmo
erro.
O erro é o seguinte:

RAMDISK: Couldn't find valid RAM disk image starting at 0. 
VFS: Cannot open root device "" or unknown-block(8,3) 
Please append a correct "root=" boot option

Alguem ja passou por algo semelhante ?
