[Freeipa-devel] New version of Fedora DS released in Fedora

Fedora DS 1.1.0 alpha 4 was released in Fedora this weekend.  This 
version gets rid of ds_newinst.pl and uses /usr/sbin/setup-ds.pl for new 
instance creation.  setup-ds.pl allows you to
* create an instance interactively - dialogs ask you questions and 
provide you with default answers
* create an instance with no .inf file - you can provide the defaults on 
the command line e.g. setup-ds.pl slapd.ServerPort=389
* create an instance with a pre-hashed password for the directory 
manager - the command /usr/bin/pwdhash can be used to generate the password

setup-ds.pl --help will give you some idea.  NOTE: setup-ds.pl creates a 
log by default.  If you do not want a log, use setup-ds.pl ... -l 
/dev/null ...
