[Freeipa-devel] ipaserver-install and existing dirsrv instances

Part of the requirements for installing freeipa-server is that there be
no directory server instances. Just for a test, I ran the install script
when there was an existing instance, and was asked whether I wanted to
remove it.

What happens if you don't, and attempt to use your existing dirsrv
instance? Can you? What sort of configuration changes are required for
dirsrv and/or ipa?
