This was needed to support a text-based auto.master that looks like:

/-                      /etc/auto_direct1
/-                      /etc/auto_direct2
/-                      /etc/auto_direct3

These three would all generate the same DN:

automountkey=/-,automountmapname=auto.master,cn=default,cn=automount,dc=example,dc=com
