Yes - glad to hear you are wanting to try things out. Milestone 5
(currently Nov. 9) will be feature complete and will begin our testing
phase. We plan to test and document for about a month after Milestone 5
- with at least a few test releases - before we do a freeipa release 1.

The only reason I don't recommend the current release for non-developers
is that the uid/gid autogeneration is still not turned on. That prevents
creating users that can actually be used. I expect Milestone 5 to be
useful for testers.
