[K12OSN] Install additional software not working

I am installing a new k12ltsp server and I cannot get the "additional
software" Adobe, java etc to load.  It try's the apt get and the
following error occurs:

Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored or old ones
used instead.

ERROR: could not update apt repository apt-get update 

Aborting

Any ideas???
