[K12OSN] nic problem

Trying to install an amer.com c1110-32. kudzu picks it up, but during 
initialization it says it is not present. I tried the updated drivers at 
amer, no good. Tried drivers from realtek.com.tw and those at least 
compiled, but at boot say there is an unrecognized symbol in r8169.o. 
Any ideas?
