Hello,

I can't get a local usb printer to work on a Jammin 225.
The 225 has a static ip assigned in dhcpd.conf 192.168.0.10

This is on ver k12ltsp 4.1.1. My intention was/is to upgrade to 4.2 this
week but I wanted to get all the new stuff (local printing, rdesktop,
usb pen drive) working on a known working server first.

Not sure whether this makes a difference but I am also using a usb
mouse.

Following the instructions at disklessworkstations.com for the j125 and
j150 I added the following to lts.conf

[ws 010]
	MODULE_01 = usb-ohci
	MODULE_02 = printer
	PRINTER_0_DEVICE = /dev/usb/lp0
	PRINTER_0_TYPE = S

The client errors out at boot with:
<-snip->

/lib/modules/2.4.26-ltsp-1/drivers/usb/usb-ohci.o init module no such
device

Press <enter>

after pressing enter I get:

Scanning for video card
building the  /tmp/XF86Config-4 file

Fatal Server Error
cannot open log file "/var/log/Xorg.0.0.log

I commented out the lines added to lts.conf so the client would boot
again and then for the heck of it tried setting up the printer. I set it
up as a DirectJet with the IP of the client and port 9100. No go.

The printer is an Epson c86 but I haven't got that far yet. These
printers also have a parallel connection so I could use that if need be.

John
