The PROBLEM with this on an LTSP box is that you as the terminal are the
same IP as the proxy.  So if you cut off the IP address of the user, squid
can now no longer talk either ... catch 22

read my other thread on the solution to this.... use UID verification in
IPTABLES

Alternatively if you have reason to keep a non-transparent proxy, you
can use firewall settings (or iptables if it is linux) to block direct
connections to common webserver ports from internal address except the
proxy server.  That way if the student changes their proxy settings
their web access will no longer work.  They will quickly stop doing it.
