Let me also just point out the existence of Whitebox Linux, at

	http://whiteboxlinux.org/

Which tracks RHEL (all packages).

Its existence is only possible because of Redhat generously making all
the Source RPMs of RHEL available. Whitebox strips the Redhat'ishness
out of it, and re-rolls the CDs.

I use it to good effect in LTSP-based classrooms.
