Then I'd look into implementing NIS or LDAP on the Solaris box so that the users 
can each have an account on it. NIS would probably be easier, but LDAP is the 
more modern approach; there's been some discussion on this list lately about 
implementing LDAP; I think someone wrote a how-to recently.  Then you can try my 
initial suggestion, of NFS mounting the /home directories from the LTSP server 
onto the Solaris box.  You'll still have to go through the steps of generating 
the public keys for ssh for each user.
