    SME server uses horde/imp for webmail (see http://www.horde.org/ ).  
Kronolith is a calendar under the horde framework.  I haven't used it 
myself, but I recall reading that it does work.  You might try asking in 
the experienced user forum on contribs.org (the new home for SME server).
