BasicLinux 3.01 is now available:

-----------------------------------------

boots from hda1, hda2, hda3, hda4, hdb1, hdc1, hdd1
bug in mail setup fixed
mailto capability added to links
manpage for swm
TERM in rxvt changed from linux to xterm

This one is still undergoing some testing and runs Xvesa (as opposed to
X), but it's only 2 or 3 MB and could certainly be fit on floppies. It's
being developed to do remote X queries, but can also act as a standalone
system (on machines with 8Mb RAM or more). You might want to join the
listserv for more info on getting it to do X queries (works a bit
differently that K12ltsp). Getting vncviewer to work with this might be a
bit of a challenge though - folks on the listserv are pretty helpful with
trying to implement new things like this.
