[K12OSN] help deciphering a log file from a crash

Hi all,

I had a system freeze this a.m. (and sure enough I was not at school to
fix it) that locked up the server to a point where we had to turn it off
and back on. Simply cycling the power seems to have fixed it, but it has
happened twice now in two weeks...and oddly enough...at the same time of
day (almost to the minute) and with the same 5th grade class....who I only
see every third day. SO....I'm researching the logs to see if I can find
out why. Below is the last set of log entries in /var/log/messages from
the time of the crash to the reboot....note the time jump from nearly 8
a.m. until almost noon....(that's how long before I knew). Anyway...I'm
trying to figure out just what may have happened...anyone got any ideas?
The first set of entries is the one from this a.m. just before the
crash....the second set is a typical set of entries when a person logs
in....such as my daughter Olivia :-) There are several error
messages...and these occur for everyone....remember I'm using a Samba/LDAP
server and exporting (thus mounting) /home....everything runs fine, but
I'm wondering if there's something I may be missing that could be
fixed....let me know if anything makes sense to you.....
