[K12OSN] OpenOffice Printing Help`

Ok,

The printing from openoffice has not worked for me in quite some time.
I would prefer to set it so that ANY printing from openoffice is forced
to the generic lpr program (which is actually, for me, pointed to a
printer selection utility).

Is there any way to get this done? Ironically, I *don't* want the other
installed cups printers to be available in openoffice, AND I would like
to add a comment "Print to this printer" for the generic one...

I see in /usr/lib/openoffice there are some config files for psprint --
but how do I force users to read that? I see that everyone already has
a .openoffice folder in their home directory, and blanketly erasing it
scares me. PLUS, I'm still not sure how to get openoffice to stop
listing all the installed cups printers. Even though they are listed,
none of them actually work -- and they don't give error messages...

*sigh*

Thanks in advance for any pointers,
-Shawn
