Hi Rich....
I have about 65 units in operation in two different labs and our media center.
They work fine once you get the correct bios booting on them. I bought all of
ours used or refurbed and the only problem I've had is one switch on one of the
units. They have only one moving part and that is a small power supply fan. I
actually prefer that rather than an external transformer. Some of the pluses are
that they will take up to 256 mb of memory, they have a 40 pin IDE connector
inside, 2 PCI slots so that even if you get the token ring model you can stick
in a NIC from DWS (plug for Jim M) and away they go..they have sound and USB and
front plugs for headphones...and lastly they have a flash memory card
slot....I've averaged about $50 delivered so even if they blow up you're not out
too much....Hope that helps a little....
