[K12OSN] problem in starting a new dual boot machine in Linux

With the Linux partition there are actually several partitions on my 
hard drive.  The XP main, an XP recovery, something else XP uses, and 
those created by  Linux.  I think that  Grub is going to the correct 
partition, based on the text below, but is there a way to check and make 
sure?
