[K12OSN] copying data

Hello all,

I've a server issue and I don't know what it is.  I am reinstalling a
server that has been a slave for the last few weeks to try and fix/locate
what the problem is.  So ...

Let's say that this fixes the problem.  I know how to copy users to this
new box.  However, is there a way to copy data from home directories?  I
don't want to copy user settings or anything like that.  I want those to
be all new.  I only want to copy .docs and things.

Ideas?
