I'm not sure where you got the idea that the LTSP bits were shoved into 
Edubuntu just prior to release in October.

There were 4 of us LTSP/K12LTSP guys at the Ubuntu developers meeting in 
Sydney at the end of April, working VERY closely with the Ubuntu 
developers, to put LTSP into Breezy Ubuntu and Edubuntu.  In fact, 
preliminary work on this was started at a meeting in Portland Oregon, 
between Eric Harrison, Matt Zimmerman and myself at the end of February 
2005.  So, to think that LTSP in Edubuntu was a last minute thing is 
both inaccurate and an insult to the developers that worked so hard on 
the LTSP/Ubuntu integration.
