The windows machines shouldn't be behind the LTSP server. They should
be on the same subnet as the Domain Controller. Is one of your servers
providing DHCP? I believe that the DC login request is a broadcast
packet and therefore is getting blocked/filtered by the routing
services that your LTSP server is providing. If the Samba/LDAP server
is providing DHCP, and Windows machines are on the same LAN as the
Samba/LDAP server then set them up to receive a DHCP request and
everything should be good.
