[K12OSN] Adobe Plugin in K12LTSP 5.0.0

Hi folks,

I used the 'install additional software' > 'Get Acrobat Reader' to install 
Adobe on a K12LTSP 5.0. server. I am running on the Gnome desktop. When I 
launch a browser as root to test pdf files they are being opened by the gnome 
viewer rather the appearing in the adobe plugin within the web browser 
window. What do I have to change/do to get Acrobat working correctly
