[K12OSN] Screen Reset

Not sure if it's related but I've seen something similar start happening after I've
restarted GDM a time or two on the server (because I'm, say, fooling around with
autologin changes). Usually, I can get back to the server's GUI by pressing
Ctrl-Alt-F7. Rebooting the server causes those problems to cease.
