We use Accel. Reader, Accel. Math, Star Reader, and Star Math, all
purely web based, and we pay RenLearn to host the server so we don't
have to mess with it. William can tell you all the details, only issue
I know we had is the fact that you have to install Adobe Reader and
Macromedia Flash Player on the LTSP servers. Accel. Math can also be
done on screen now without need for the scanners (and associated Windows
S/W), although you still have to print out the tests for students to
work out with pencil on paper, and then they click the multiple choice
answers on screen.
Now if we could just get Macromedia to do a Linux plugin for Shockwave,
which several educational websites use... Can this group mount a mass
request to Macromedia?

buy CALs and TSCALS if the RenLearn stuff is your only windows bound
application.
