chances are your ldap database got corrupt....check to see if slapd( is
running..it prob wont start if corrupt..grab your latest slapcat copy of
the database..
move the corrupt out of the way with something like mv /var/lib/ldap
/var/lib/ldap.corrupt

slapadd -l yourbackupfile..then set perms on the new /var/lib/ldap to be
like the old corrupt one
restart ldap and hopefully you'll be in business..chuck
