[K12OSN] OT: Shutdown Linux from Windows?

Rob,

In my recent experience using Cygwin and Putty to connect with OpenSSH
Daemons, I've found the Putty suite to be easier to script with under
Windows than Cygwin. That's not to say that Cygwin doesn't have it's
place, but it's not really best used for (effectively) trivial
scripting from a Windows host to a Linux or Unix server.
