[K12OSN] Getting MPlayer installed

I finally got the chance to run the yum line you told me to try and now 
I get s splash screen and the player is visible, however I got a small 
window with the following error message.  How do I go about fixing this?

New_Face failed.  Maybe the font path is wrong.  Please supply the text 
font file (~/.mplayer/subfont.ttf)
