Re: Rép. : [K12OSN] K12LTSP, Zenworks Imaging Server and troubles. . .

Try it and see =) I know it'll still work when you use the zenworks boot
cd...but I can't tell you that it will via pxe. You may have to add some
rules via your ltsp pxe to direct those machines to it if you want that
working.

The server that is running Zenworks is not the same server and dhcp
server is not running on a Novell server anyway. So I knew those were
not related. B
t will the Zenworks Imaging server still work with the pdhcp disabled
in the Zenworks Server?

That won't be too big of a deal since we aren't actually using the
Zenworks Imaging server yet (can't get it to work right. . .) and I
want
the K12LTSP working.

Thanks for the input!

There are 2 services with novell. dhcpsrvr.nlm and the zenworks pxe
pdhcp.nlm. Take the pdhcp.nlm out of the equation as it has nothing to
do with dhcpsrvr.nlm.

if I kill the DHCP server workstations (winders or otherwise) don't
get
IPs so I know the ZenWorks server is not handing out IPs.

What next?

If the clients want to go to the Zenworks server, it might be dishing
out DHCP offers.
Shutdown your dhcp server and see if the zenworks server is offering
DHCP services.

Hello!

Scenario:
Server A - Novell Zenworks Imaging server
Server B - Linux server, serving DHCP to all workstations, both LTS
and
Winders.
Server C - FC6 K12LTSP Server.

Problem:

I have etherboot and PXE boot working fine with the DHCP (from server
B) serving clients and regular winders workstations. Speed is good
and
all.

Until. . .

The Zenworks Imaging stuff is enabled on the Novell Zenworks Imaging
Server (server A). When the Zenworks Imaging Server stuff is enabled
on
the Novell Zenworks Imaging Server (server A), etherboot quits
working.

It wants to get the Zenworks Imaging server instead of the etherboot
K12LTSP server (server C).

Is there a way to make K12LTSP and a Zenworks Imaging Server get along
on the same network at the same time?

Thanks in advance.
