I have IE 6 running under Wine on FC6, but unfortuately it won't do SSL
(https), so it is of limited usefulness. I have a virtual WinXP & Win2K
machines (using VMWare Server at home and VMPlayer on laptop) when I really
need to use IE.
There is a zero cost way to use XP as an RDP server (beyond the console), so
hypothetically you could run a virtual XP machine and use rdesktop to access
it and run IE from there without a Windows Server license, or TS CALs.
I don't have the XP conversion info at hand, so please use google. I saw the
info from a link supplied on either this list or the LTSP discussion list, so
the archives should have it too.
