Gosa, SWAT, lam, system-config-samba all worthy of consideration, but if you want to
keep your user and machine accounts as they are, you probably want to follow the BDC to
PDC path you mentioned in one of your messages.  Do it as a VM, in an isolated
environment, first, so you can find out how much breakage you get when you change your
server-name.  I don't think it will be as much as you anticipate.
