Hello list,

Just thought I'd throw this out for anyone wrangling at school with
students bringing in docx, etc file from their new laptops,with MS $ Off
that they had mom and pop spring for before school started:) A simple
fix for OO2 to open docx,pptx,xlsx file is to download the
odf-converter-integrator rpm that is available. This will enable your
OO2 any version to easily open the new format files. Only caveat they
will have to be saved in .doc format ,or whatever OO ext you'd like.
They can not be resaved in .docx, in other words.
