[katello-devel] Fwd: katello rhel6 setup issues

Hi all,

Regarding the issue 2)
As I have two nodes, one for candlepin/postgresql and the other for katello/pulp

After going through the "setup your candlepin environment" section under katello.yml,  I copied the candlepin-ca.crt and candlepin-ca.key to the katello node and placed it under /etc/candlepin/certs/ , only then I could get katello running. 

But currently I am facing another issue,

[root at catwoman certs]# katello -u admin -p admin org create --name=alyx_org
error: 'str' object has no attribute 'has_key' (more in the log file)

Hi all,

Yesterday, I started with a katello setup with rhel6.

Using 2 nodes, 1 for candlepin and postgresql and the other for katello and pulp-server.

Issues faced yesterday: 

1) On adding the entry , module.config.katello=org.fedoraproject.candlepin.katello.KatelloModule  to /etc/candlepin/candlepin.conf, 
[root at localhost tomcat6]# curl -k -u admin:admin https://localhost:8443/candlepin/status
{"displayMessage":"Error contacting user service"}

Any idea as to what could be the issue here.

2) Currently I am not able to start katello unless I set use_ssl to false. 

I think, as I am using another node for candlepin, I am facing this issue. Need to further look into this cert issue. please let me know , if you have any suggestions on this.
