This error is typically ok and if I recall correctly tends to occur in cases where you are using dhcp and your dhcp name is X but your hostname is Y.  It may also occur when reverse dns lookups are not configured or not working; again this can be because your dns name is dhcpxxxx and your system name is yyyyyy.

Check the status of selinux; I have been seeing some new selinux related issue crop up.  If getenforce returns "Enforcing" do 'setenforce 0' and see what you get when you start katello-jobs (or try to start it).
